Meet Cindy Werchon

Cindy Werchon is an emerging artist specialising in detailed animal and bird portraits, created using Polychromos pencils and pastels. Inspired by the beauty and spirit of the natural world, her work captures the personality and presence of each subject with care and precision.

Beginning her artistic journey just over a year ago, Cindy has quickly developed a distinctive style that blends realism with a sense of connection to nature. Each piece is a reflection of her passion for wildlife and the calming, meditative process of creating.

Cindy is excited to share her evolving collection and connect with art lovers as she continues to explore and grow her practice.

Current Work In Progress

I recently completed a regal peacock using Caran d’Ache pencils and Unison pastels on Clairefontaine paper, focusing on bringing out the richness and depth of his incredible colours. Layer by layer, I worked to capture the iridescent blues, greens and shimmering tones of his feathers, highlighting the elegance and quiet strength of this striking bird. This piece was all about celebrating colour, texture and the natural beauty of one of nature’s most captivating creatures.
